The Dog
Writers Hall of Fame was established to honor the elite of the profession both
living and dead. It was the idea of Mordecai Siegal to honor those many times
forgotten over the years. His intent was that we should honor people for their
writings and share their honors with the Annual banquet.
The beginning of all plaques reads:
“For lifetime achievement and distinguished contributions to the
benefit of all dogs, the dog sports, and those who care for them.”
