2010 entry deadline will be September 1st
- Entry fees for regular categories is $10.00 for members per/submission
- Entry fees for regular categories is $15.00 for non-members per/submission
- Entry fees for the special categories is $7.00 per/submission
- Work published between September 1, 2009 and August 31st, 2010 is eligible.
Professional and amateur writers are welcome, as long as the work has been published.
- Unpublished work or manuscripts are not eligible.
- Previously published works are NOT eligible.
- Nominees are notified by letter (US 1st class mail)
between December 1st thru December 10th 2010.
- Nominees will be posted here in the week of December 15th 2010
- Nominees will also be listed in the January 2011 DWAA newsletter
Each year, the DWAA Awards Banquet is held the evening prior to the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City, usually the second week in February.
- Winners are announced that night, and receive the DWAA Maxwell Medallion honoring their work.
